I Am That Strong Latina!

I am always alert and aware of what this life may bring;
I may fall and scrape my knees, it wont scare me, its only a sting.

I learn from mistakes to guide me through my journey;
I separate the true ones from the ones who already burned me.

I am that strong Latina!

Those whom always doubt me, I’m here to prove them wrong;
I feed off their criticism and show them that I am strong.

I’ve made bad choices that I’m not proud of;
But I know that the Lord is watchin straight from up above.

Many people have tried their best, to try to brake me down;
I, am the one still standing, they fell, now who is the clown?

I am that strong Latina!

I’ve been through things that people consider are the worse;
I’ve survived the battle and  I am still here, not by force.

Many brick walls risen, that I have struggled to cross;
And the close ones deserted me, consider it their loss.

I take it by a day, to create who I am today;
I stand up straight, hold my head up high and continue to say.
