STAY GRINDIN!
I’ve moved from job to job and place to place;
Witness every grimy thing that a person could face.
Had to separate the real from the fake;
Realized there’s mistakes I would make.
People assumed I’m the type of girl;
Just a pretty face, who can’t survive this world.
You see, there’s a lot they don’t know bout me;
Growing up, I never had it easy.
I stay grindin through all night and day;
Bout me never cared what they say.
Haters always tried to brake me down;
But I stand strong, still holding my ground
People that disguised as your friend turned out to be a back stabber;
What worried you back then, now doesn’t even matter.
In order for someone to succeed, someone must fail;
Choose the wrong road and you might find yourself in jail.
Nothing is free in this world, and I work hard to reach my destiny;
I let nothing get in my way of what I am destine to be.
I stay grindin through all night and day;
Bout me never cared what they say.
Haters always tried to brake me down;
But I stand strong, still holding my ground.
