FORBIDDEN LOVE

It’s been so long and still I stand;
But still I long for the touch of your hand

I’ll be strong and keep it all inside;
Even if it’s just foolish pride

How do I describe this feeling, pure ecstasy, blissful, serene;
Love of some kind, quite like no other I’ve seen

It’s your mind and compassion that has captivated my heart, not your physical being;
But I know it can’t be real it’s just something in my mind I picture seeing.

The steaming fire that interacts between us, is something we both can’t ignore;
An overwhelming feeling so deep constantly has us coming back for more.

But reality has to take its course;
Just imagining me on the other end makes me have remorse.

Tears fall down my face, knowing you belong to someone else;
You whisper baby if things were different you would be my spouse.

Trying to escape from the trap of bitterness inside;
Just one last time, let’s get away and take our favorite ride.

Let’s be wrapped in our love grasping what we are forbidden;
Leaving a warm embracing memory of a sweet love from back then.

But in reality, we must come back to our senses and realization;
Back to a world we wish to escape and only carry it in our conversation

Awakened to the truth of what’s right, what’s wrong, and what is not ours;
Leaving only fantasies to fantasized, when we’re alone at the late hours.
