Born
and raised in New Orleans, LA. Lakesha “Kiki” Pinkney
possessed the fiery and driven personality of a typical Sagittarius.
In her younger years she dreamed of becoming an entertainer. She
performed in school talent shows, school fashion shows but never
achieved her life long dream.
Living in a single parent home Lakesha “Kiki” Pinkney
had to focus ..ing to raise her younger brother while her mother
was at work. Her father Keith Logan Sr. is a well known musician
in the New Orleans area and played at various churches, weddings,
and events in New Orleans, LA area.
Lakesha then realized that it
was in her blood to continue what her father started. She then tagged
along with her father watched as she learned the real meaning of
entertainment. She then became apart of the Raymond Myles gospel
choir at Marion Abramson High School in 1997. He then taught her
the discipline that she would use later on in life. After the tragic
death of Raymond Myles, Lakesha had no other way to express herself
in song, so she then gave up.
Lakesha “Kiki” Pinkney
graduated from Marion Abramson High School, and later on attended
Bryman College as well as Delgado Community College. After all of
her accomplishments there was still a void in her life. At the age
of 22 she was urged by a friend to pursue a modeling career.
She
then began to see doors opening in acting, co-hosting, etc. She followed
that path and that groomed her in becoming the entertainer that she
is today. She has featured in FHM Magazine, Offline Magazine and
shot with various photographers in New Orleans, Atlanta, and surrounding
areas. She began her training with Gary Grubbs/actor. He than taught
her how to present herself at auditions, how to cold read and many
other acting techniques.
Lakesha began to get her on set experience
by doing extra, featured extra, and stand-in work on movies such
as Last Holiday, Heartless, Kid Magician, Locust, Lady Luck, Crescent
City, Campus Confidential, and many more preparing her for her lead
role in an upcoming movie called “The Frat”.
Lakesha
then realized that her urge to sing would never let up until she
tried to pursue it even more. And from there Lakesha moved to Los
Angeles hoping to widen her opportunities |
