Daze is a six member band from los angeles, ca
a mystical blend of reggae, hip hop and soul vibes.
Rising up in the L.A. underground scene with the likes of Jurrassic 5, the Black
Eeyed Peas and Ozomatli, Dread Daze has carved out their own niche captivating
a wide variety of audiences around the globe.
With an explosive stage show. Patois dialect rhyming,
the sweet melodic voice of ria. Combined with Najashi’s
cool style and the music of a band that knows the vibes of mystcal
musical elements.
Donu on drums who has backed up many artists in all genres from
Otis Day, jazz artist Frank Ballard . And played in a band with
friends called Klass which had James Early on bass. James
was the producer for M.C Hammer’s first 3 albums.
And guitarst former Guns and Roses now velvet revolver
guitar man slash tony on bass. Issac on keyboards and
Brian from the belfast posse on guitar.
Brian who has been friends with David and Selywn from Steele
Pulse for over 20 years was able to tour with pulse in the late
nineties. Dread Daze musicians has a style of their own.
Mystic vibrations and a understanding of the elements of life
is which enables the music of Dread Daze to come forth Najashi
the lead vocals in Dread Daze comes from a talented musical family. His
cousin Donna Reid was part of the group which recorded the classic
sly and robbie track “Uptown Topranking” and cousin
Christopher “kid”. Reid who was part of the rap
group kid n play.
