Jacnique,
The Hypnotist. It was once said that, “only passions, great
passions can elevate the soul to great things”. The very essence
of that statement is reflected in the mind, body, soul, and music
of Jacnique Harris-Love.
Known to her fans simply as Jacnique, this San Francisco songstress
embodies all the qualities of a natural superstar. She is an
avid songwriter, pristine vocalist, and a runway renaissance
woman. With graceful elegance, seductive sensuality, sassy sophistication,
and an astonishing voice that seems to trace the very beat of
your heart, she sends her audiences into a hypnotic frenzy.
Her soul-laced jazz represents a harmonic groove in a world
full of ambient noise and sound. Jacnique does not get by on
an image or any gimmicks; she is exactly the person you see on
stage. She eats, sleeps, and breathes the class, grace, passion,
and essence of what it is to be Jacnique.
Jacniques hypnotic like musical skills were developed early
on in her life. From the age of 5 years old, those closest to
her could see a prodigy in the making as she virtually mesmerized
her family and peers with her God given talents.
While making the transition from adolescence to early womanhood,
Jacnique joined a girl group called Ynturaj. Although she had
some wonderful experiences with the group, it was not too long
before Jacnique realized that she no longer needed an entourage
to solidify her presence as an artist. Before she knew it, she
began making quite a name for herself on the Bay Area club scene
performing alongside well know jazz guitarist, Tony DeWayne.
Although she was gracing stages and receiving critical acclaim
from Hollywood, CA to Las Vegas, NV, it was not until one night
while she was performing at Geoffreys in Oakland, CA that she
started taking the steps toward her current success. It was that
night that Ted Selu, the CEO and founder of Way 2 Real Entertainment,
became the next person to fall prey to the spellbinding ways
of this sultry songstress.
Captivated by her charm, style, and pure talent, Mr. Selu signed
Jacnique the minute she floated off the stage. With a place to
call home and a viable music label behind her, Jacnique released
her first single entitled, Lovin You; a lyrical yet sonically
amazing masterpiece that left her fans and critics begging for
more.
In 2006 Jacnique started her own independent record label and
publishing company, SirenFire Music Works and SirenFire Music
Publishing. Not to disappoint her public, the dynamic diva is
currently putting the finishing touches on a project that is
guaranteed to touch the hearts and souls of her fans, critics,
and the world for that matter. New compositions such as, Sunrise,
Toy Box, and This Kind of Blue have astounded those fortunate
enough to get a taste of the home cooked meal she is preparing
for a somewhat famished industry.
Jacnique (pronounced Zsa’nique) represents the epitome
of artistry. She personifies everything that is femininity, everything
that is sensuality, everything that is graceful, everything that
is musical, and everything that represents class. She masterfully
combines all of those elements and creates her own clever blend
of artistic brew that continues to intoxicate audiences the world
over. If it is truly passion that elevates the soul to great
things, then Jacniques music is the product of that passion.
The word elegance has finally found a symbol to define it; that
symbol goes by the name, Jacnique. |
