There is no doubt in the minds of those that have heard his
work, if you have had the chance to be in the presence of Scott "LAce" Yates,
you will automatically understand why he we eventually grow to
be a force in this music industry. He is heavily focused on his
craft, you can catch LAce in the streets of LA, listening to
his iPod, and writing rhymes in his t-mobile sidekick. A quote

more, he had this to say about Scott. "Scotty is a lot different

At a very young age of 18 years old, Scotty has recently graduated
from High School, and has decided to put all of his effort and
energy into getting his music career off of the ground. He has

Erika Whitaker, his dad Scott Yates Sr, and his stepdad Cully
Mitchell. Not to mention every other family member, including
the lady he calls his backbone, his grandmother... Joyce Whitaker.
Scotty's rapping style can't be classified into 1 genre, he
can speed it up and talk about partying and having a great time
rolling the streets of Los Angeles, California, and at the same
time can slow it down, and speak of his first love who's name
remains anonymous. Regardless what style he is rapping, it's
