Da Heavy Hitters consist of 2 rappers/ producers that is reppin their city(Washington, DC). Elzy and Hustle are from the southside of the city, who came together after Hustle just happened to walk in on Elzy making beats on a korg triton studio.

Hustle was a rapper since he was a child and could never find the other peice to the puzzle, which was some gutta ass beats that could fit his style.

When these 2 got together in the studio, it was like magic because everything just went so smooth and their first song(ridin clean) only took 1 hour to complete and get mixed. Talk about only 1 take.

Now after completing thier first cd which has 14 songs, they have to try to get thier city behind them. It isnt going to be easy because their are so many garbage cd's from the dc area that people are scared to support their own.

But these 2 are so confident that once the word gets around that this cd is the best yet, that then their rise will begin.
