CBC, 25, and the Family was formed about 2.5 years ago when an up-and-coming Hip-Hop producer/sound engineer, 25 (Yusef Smith), and music composer/folk guitarist, CBC (Chris Holder), decided to make it real.

The two actually met over 5 years ago and had made a pact during that time to eventually become known through their music.

CBC has been dabbling with guitars/bass and percussion for over ten years. 25 has been producing/sound engineering for over ten years as well.

Currently the Family members are: J-CUBED (back-up female vocals), MISS NOVEMBER (lead female vocals), and RAW (Lead rapper of E.V.S. - which is another group that 25 is also invovled with). "CBC, 25, and the Family's music is a clash of Hip-Hop, Metal, Jazz, Blues, New Age, Folk, and Reality".
